Anyone using a headliner like Classic Ind. headliner? What is your experience with it. Thinking I might try it since cooler weather around corner and the top will be up more. Want it for looks, sound depression, and warmth. Thanks

This is wild. I never had noticed it befrore in the catalog. The only convertible I've seen with a headliner was a Rolls Royce Conniche. It looked V E R Y sharp. I don' know I would want one on my camaro though. I'd have to see one in "real life."

I have seen it on other verts ,nice clean look1999 and newer BMW 3-Series verts have a headliner, i.e., double-wall top.

Really cuts down on the noise and looks alot better. Only problem I see for the future is the elastic straps used to hold the liner in place are only 1/4 inch wide and I can see the elasticity going right out the window.

Cost for replacement: no labor, $2435.00, whole top.

Correction pricing for material only: (from www.realoem.com (http://www.realoem.com))
Top cover/canvas $2300
Headliner $800
Whole top, frame, pump, everything, $6600.00

It states in the catalog description that it can be folded with the top but it seems to me that this would be a little bulky, so I'm thinking that I would only use it during the cold months here in Kansas when I have the top up to make it a little warmer and more appealing. With the discount it might be worth a look.

...my '02 vert has the 'headliner', ...stays pretty fixed with the top while folding, ...not bulky at all.
...I have not looked at the 1st gen one, ...it may be different...

I'm having fun with copy and paste. http://www.pro-touring.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=8564&d=1141840052 the weather was nice that day but from the looks of the trees I would probably have the top up. That's when I would use the liner.
