I have a 1981 z28. Just rebuilt the engine. Comp cam..not sure what kind..guy didn't keep any paperwork. Holley 750, .60 over, you know..the norm. Well, now i come to the exhaust. I have to get new mufflers. Mine just arn't loud enough..plus the mufflers are hanging down. I just wanted to try and get some help decideing what kind to get for the least amount of money. I want it loud and clean sounding.

I would suggest Hooker Aero Chambers. They have a very deep and rich sound. Not tinny or cheap sounding. They are about $60 each and come in a variety of sizes and inlet/outlet locations.
