Can anyone tell me what this gm flywheel part # is for (14091599) sb 400, or bb 454. or where can I go to find out?

11" clutch jobbers here................

The 400 SB big f/w should be PN 3986394.

And the 454 big f/w, PN 3993827.

Or at least these part numbers should cross reference to what GM's current PN's are.

From my NY Phonebook sized PAW cat. b/c I just can't find these numbers anywhere else right now..

pdg67 thanks for th info I have a 400 & 454 for my 67 camaro. Somebody told me the flywheels were the same then I was told there not the same:confused: :clonk:

Right!

If I had it to do over, I would buy a 400 SB and a 454 BB balance plate and just use my good 350 11" f/w and be done with it for both applications!!

pdg67 I used the balance plate on my owtlaw street stock dirt car and I was changing the flywheel ring every other month, because the flywheel is futher back from the starter and only catched half the ring gear. so I'd rather not use the balance plates I have time to find the right equipment and do it once not twice:thumbsup:
