Having some trouble getting this chrome molding off my 68 convertible. Is there a special tool? I've tried to "pop" it off from the top and bottom with a flat screwdriver, but it won't budge.

It comes off from the bottom, and there is a screw at each end. First, put some masking tape on the car along the bottom of the molding. Use a stiff putty knife to pry the molding off starting about 4 inches from either end as the hanger bracket isn't as long as the molding. Might take a bit of prying to get it started, then work your way down the entire length.
