I have a '67 power/ all drum car and am looking at doing a front disc conversion this winter. I will probably end up getting stock disc brake parts instead of an aftermarket kit so I can still use my 14" rallys. I have searched and read quite a bit but still have a few questions.

My first question is can I use a power booster and master cyl. from a thrid gen camaro? I have one laying around that is new, but I'm not sure what the bore size it has or what size the brake line fittings are.

Second, if someone has done this already, is it cheaper/better to get parts from GM or someplace like NAPA or Autozone?

Third, right now I have the front drums hooked up with all new lines that I got from classic industries...can I reuse those with the disc setup?

Lastly, here is the list of parts that I think I will need? Does this look correct?

-single piston caliper and rotor from a compatible car
-caliper mounting bracket
-brake lines???
-pads
-bearings
-disc master

Thanks for the help,
Matt

As I see this the biggest hassle is relocating the drum brake rubber hose S/F mounts AND A-Arm holders to the STOCK disc brake locations and you should be good to go!!

But I did my "pdqCBB" 13" front set-up!!

hey there you are better off going to a bone yard and getting a doner man there are plenty of cars that will bolt straight on your car check with manf and junk yards but you better off with entire brake system booster calp rotors line ect its cheaper and less running around believe me i did it on 67 camaro went from drum to disc so look into it let me know how you came out later. skip
