We can get pretty close, either by similar experience, or one of the many available sim programs. List as many details as you can...we can get you a ballpark figure.

Take it to the strip, and post numbers. That will allow for a computation of horsepower from performance; plus it is a lot of fun and safer than racing on the street.

Curious; why the Ford Blue engine paint?

If the guy you're buying from built the engine, ask him about it. We'd like to know approximate compression ratio, brand/size cylinder heads, cam specs, carb size, bore & stroke, and what kind of exhaust you plan on using from the headers all the way back. These numbers are essential for guestimating horsepower. If he built it then he more than likely knows everything I just asked for, so don't worry about confusing him. Write down these questions, then write down what he tells you and post it.

thats not going to be the position of the exhaust though he called me the other day and me and my dad decided to have the exhaust come out from the side behing the tire rather then behing the car.

Post the cam card specs. This is the brain of the engine.IVO,IVC,EVO,and EVC along with gross lift. The calculator will do the rest.Any info regarding flow at lift and CR will go along way is guesstimating your package.Add your carb flow at 1.5 inches and induction and your primary tube size will also help.
