For now, I just can't bring myself to drill a hole in those Thorley Tri-Y headers. I'm concerned the 9 o'clock sensor location will just get hit by a lot of road debris, rain, etc.,.
So, yesterday I stopped by the local muffler shop and picked up a 30" section of 2.5" muffler pipe with a female end. I had them bend a 30* on it as close as possible to the female end. My Son welded in the O2 bung within 5" of the inlet (female) side. After calibrating the AFR Monitor,

I slipped this setup on my driver side American Thunder 2.5" tailpipe. Warmed up the '68 327 and found I was running 12.5 AFR. The manual says to run 14.5 AFR at idle. For now I set that side to 14 AFR. When I switched to the passenger side, it was at 16 AFR. I adjusted that side down to 14 AFR also.
When I went to part throttle (in Nuetral, no load) I had a 12.5 AFR. This is REALLY close to what it ran when dyno'd. I've already went to a larger jet since the Dyno session, so I'm thinking I need to go another jet size richer on the Edelbrock Performer.

Questions:
Is there a preferred Idle AFR for a First Gen 327 (220 Hp)?
Is there a preferred part throttle AFR for a First Gen 327?
Is there a preferred WOT AFR for a First Gen 327?

BTW, I am very happy with this AFR Monitor. The monitor and cables seem to be well made. It appears to be a quality product for the price. The response to throttle changes is immediate and the readout is in red and large enough to see from several feet away, even at night.

Any opinions and recommendations are appreciated.

The basic recomendations that I received in a tuning class are--
@ idle, part throttle, and cruise 14.5 to 15.5
@ WOT 12.5 to 13.0 for NA
