I'm think about adding a intercooler to my procharger this winter. Where's a good place to buy one without having to sell an organ to afford one. They seem to be very pricey. I have seen some on ebay around $200, but they are too small.

Yea, I know it sounds funny because of the big bucks it takes to set up a procharger, but I to me a $1000-1200 for a intercooler seems a little too much. You see smaller intercoolers running $100 to $200 and I'm sure there is some quality difference. Also the wife is starting to complain. I sank $6500 this year getting the procharger up and running plus I bought a tilt trailer. I have paid for my whole Camaro by working overtime. The wife is starting to figure out what I have invested. She is now hinting around about me working overtime for other things so I will have to work a little less overtime. A guy can't work everyday.

Marc, How much boost, with what compression ratio?
An F1R is a pretty big blower and will need a big free flowing intercooler.
I'm using Prochargers 3 core 3" race air to air.

I'm running about a 9.3 to 1 compression ratio for now. I'm thinking about dropping to 8 to 1 this winter. As for now I'm running 8 psi boost. Someday I would like to crank it up around 12 psi.
