I just agreed to buying a '69Camaro. I want to put rally wheels on it. My question is can I get a 255/60r15 T/A Radial inside the rear fender when it's on a 15x8 with 4.5 bs? Would I need more back space? or is there not enough room for this size tire on a '69?
I think I have the front figured out.
215/70r15 on a 15x7 with 4.25 bs.

With the 4.5 bs will the 15x8 trim ring fit? I'm wondering if I will have to go to the 15x7 because of the non std offset.
Same question about the fronts. 4" seems to be std offset. If I go 4.125 will 15x7 rings fit or do I have to use 15x6 rings?
I'm trying to get this all figured out before spending the $$$ on mistakes.

I have 215/65R15 all around. 235/60R15 will rub on the front. When I got my car i had 235/60R14 on the front with no issues. Std Camaro BS.

the trim rings will work fine. I have 15x7 rings all around, even on my 15x8's on back.

Wow.
What springs are you running ?
"Cause you could fit a beagle between the tires and the fenderwells

My mechanic had them re-arched, they are 5 leaf. I have been having problems with it but I almost have it figured out thanks to team camaro. Here is the thread.
