Is anyone sorry they painted there Camaro Dusk Blue?
I am getting ready to paint mine and I still haven't had the chance to see a Dusk blue Camaro in person.
This could be a very expensive mistake for me.

Not at all sorry about painting my car Dusk Blue. My car is an original 51 code Dusk Blue (Dark Blue Mett) so it was a no brainer for me to go with the color. I also don't see many Dusk Blue cars at shows/ etc.
People are so interested to know what color it is and if it was an actual GM color in 69'. I think my car gets more attention just because its Dusk Blue.
I don't know how rare of a color it is but I think you'll be happy with it.

In my opinion, Dusk Blue is the nicest blue available for a first gen Camaro. There were a couple of Dusk Blue cars at the Supercar Reunion earlier this month and they were beautiful.

Dusk Blue is sweeeet ! Plus it has the upside of being one of the more sexier color names.. If you were single imagine walking up to a woman.. all you would have to say is , " hey honey.. I have a 69 Camaro sittin outside , it's Duuusk Blue " . Let that roll off your tongue and she will faint into your arms :)

mines dusk blue now and will have a fresh coat of it come spring, its a very sharp color....

Schoon, good for you! I remember a few years back when I was struggling with color choices. Hmmm, original or wild custom? My car is a #52 code (garnet red) which is what I ended up staying with. hard to beat those first gen colors!!

I agree Dan with the original colors being the best. My Z came of the line as #51 Dusk Blue. It has been painted black and then red by the previous owners but now it's my turn and it will go back to dusk blue. One concern I have is many of the pictures I see online of dusk blue Camaros seem to be a different shade of blue. This may be do the camera or lighting but I need to be sure it's the right shade when the paint goes on.
