Can just the glass mirror part of the electronic remote sideview mirror be replaced, or is my wife springing for the entire mirror unit?
I guess she used it as the goalie while kicking the soccer ball around in the driveway this afternoon.

Stuff like this is a REAL pain to me b/c like said, you gotta pull the door panel off and the last time I did that was on the wife's old '89 Astro Van and it had something like 17 christmas tree clips, of which, I broke like 7 of!!

I'd bet they'll have those at a local glass shop. I think they run about $20 bucks or so at our shop.

A replacement mirror in the correct shape, with the correct backing to mount it?
Hmmmm..... never thought to ask the glass place.
Well, the chrome is starting to wear and get dull anyway, so I might as well get the whole assembly. Besides, it'll teach the wife a lesson. She treats her car like a bumper car.... not mine!
