Just wanted to let anyone know who was planning on using the one piece trunk floor in its entirety on a 68, the trunk floor is modeled after a 67 which as we all know does not have staggerd shocks...They are being sold as 67-68 one piece floor. So if you use one just know that it is very different at the left shock mount & inner wheel house...

That's not the only thing that is wrong with that pan. The rear attach flange for the tail light panel and lower valance is too short too. The center bumper bracket holes are too low. Other than that, it fits really good on my 67.

Thanks for the info. I'll be doing mine here in about a month and I already bought the trunk. Looks nice compared to the many pieces from the kit.

Man this piece is somewhat disapointing...Found that the darn thing isn`t even square! It`s a 1/4" too long on the right side...Now I have to drill off the bumper brackets & shave the tail pan attaching flange so the tail pan will fit. Seems nothin ever goes as planned. graemlins/sad.gif

I wish I had purchased the one piece trunk. I am trying to fabricate the piece that goes past the shock towers and turns down to the rear seat bottom. Not fun! I wonder when thay will start to sell this part? If anyone cuts this part off their one piece trunk I would be happy to buy it :D
