I remember my '68 Z having a simple bracket that stood up at the rear of the intake manifold on the left side. I believe it was attached to one of the intake bolts. The hose from the booster passed thru this bracket on it's way to the base of the carb. I was told that this was only on '68 Z's. Is this true?

It is on 69Zs also. On a 70Z, the hose passes through the wire stand.

All the LM1's, and 350's used the hole in the wire stand too.
Only the 68/69 302's used the special bracket - Not sure why. ???

It looks like at least on mine that if you ran the hose thru the wire bracket, it would run right into the throttle linkage. With the bracket, it puts the hose right at the bend on the throttle linkage and fits perfect.

Here is my LM1 setup. I bought the wire bracket, it was missing on my car when I bought it.
