This may be a silly question but I don't know the answer. I am putting the correct stickers back on the car and the limited slip sticker for the trunk is not a PS sticker. What glue should i use to afix the sticker?

If the repro is not a "peel and stick" it is probably not a good repro. I would get another.

To the contrary. The original Posi stickers weren't peel and stick. Glue was brushed on the trunk lid, then the label was attached. Application of the glue wasn't rocket science and most of the time the labels got wrinkled when applied and slid around a bit before drying!

As for what glue to use on your sticker Mark (mstehle), unless someone comes up with a better suggestion (like JohnZ, who can tell you exactly what the line used), plain old "elmers white" would probably work just fine.

The posi label was glued to the inside of the deck lid with good-ol'-fashioned water-base glue, like the mucilage kids used to use in school, and it was sloppy - see photo below of my original '69. The jack instruction sticker was P&S, but not the posi label. :thumbsup:

Thanks for the pic. Was the location always the same or did the line sometimes put the posi sticker in the center and the jack instructions on the right?

The specified posi label location was on the right; anything was possible, but I've never seen one anywhere but on the right. :thumbsup:
