I am putting together a drag race smallblock and have a question about hooking the coolent lines from the front of the intake to the rear of the intake I have heard this will help cooling, we are not running a heater core so its either plugging them off or connecting them together any thoughts on this?

The hoses dont need to be hooked together. I would cap them off to look cleaner and for racing.
You already have a radiator- save the weight- loose the hoses:thumbsup:
