: barrel nuts for emblems?

my paint guy said he was going to use barrel nuts to install my emblems ,then I would able to remove them when waxing and they wouldn't fall off!

is this true ?

I dont like them at all. You can usually see them and they look cheap, also the emblem usually doesnt fit tight to the panel. Tell him to do it right.

It sounds like a good idea, however if you can remove them for waxing, then somebody else could also remove them too http://www.camaros.net/forum/eek.gif that would not be good.

I used barrel nuts and if I was going to do it over again, I would break off the studs on the emblem and use emblem adheasive or the double stick tape used for emblems.
