Hey Guys:
My car has finally come home. I was able to get it home today even though it rained and I will have to spend a couple of hours cleaning it up. Everyone here and at CRG has been so helpful sharing your knowledge. i look forward to learning more and more with y'all and as soon as I figure out how to post pics I will do that here. I did post some on CRG if you want to look. http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=1191.0
Thanks

Thanks for the kind words. Actually I had a pretty good find in that this car was a daily driver in Nevada. She is not a lot different from when I bought her. You gotta love the high desert because there is totally no rust on this car. It is unbeievably clean and solid. We cleaned her up, detailed the engine compartment, put the spoilers on and because the previous owner since 1972 had her totally blacked out in the 80's we had to put the badges back on and we decided to put the stripe on too while we were at it. The paint is as I bought the car though we did shoot the passenger front fender to get rid of one small nick. There were a few mechanical things that needed to be done like the oil pan gasket and the transmission seal but other than that it was good. We also put the correct black and white hounds tooth interior back in the car. All this took about 9 weeks.

Beatiful car. Nice find and great job on the cleanup/refurb. Enjoy it while the weather is still nice.
