I've got a '70 Z28 with a trim tag date of 04A and a pad stamp of V0327CTB, P-O-P stamp of V0323CTB and the block says.....What do you guys think.

Cant really make out the month of the date, but the day looks to be 23, which I think should work for a 27th assembly date.

I think it is a possibility for POPs to be stamped incorrectly. If it isnt, then it's not the original engine. Does it have the VIN on the engine? Have a pic of the engine stamp?

There is no Vin # on the block. I think the first letter is a B. I'm going to try to get in there and clean it up a bit and see if it reads better. Thanks

Yep, my 68 says V0511MO on the P-O-P, the engine is stamped V05I4MO. Block cast date is E 10 8.
