Hi guys, I'm looking for the proper paint colors or plating used on the RS headlight setup in 1969. Thanks in advance.

I can tell you what I've done on my 67 RS headlights.
Bead blasted everything. All brackets Cleaned with laquer thinner, then PPG DX330 degreaser, tacked with a tack rag, then primed with with PPG DPLF90 black epoxy primer, then painted Eastwood underhood black laquer (both coats painted same day, no sanding but tacking in between). All nuts, screw, washers, springs, and bolts bead blasted and zinc plated with Copy Cad zinc plating from http://www.caswellplating.com
Then most of the screws and bolts for the headlights further blackened with the Caswell blackener.
My galvanized buckets didn't have any rust, so those were cleaned with Mothers.
The plastic headlight covers were then cleaned up or replaced. The cover stainless surround trim soaked in rags with laquer thinning and the old paint removed. The trim exposed edges were then polished and then masked and repainted with underhood black. Covers and trim reassembled with Aluminum rivets.
New nylon bushings for door hinges too.
