I am needing to adapt a 1/4" inverted flare to a 3/16" flare port on a proportioning valve. So the 3/16" will be the male going into the valve, with a 1/4" brake line and fitting going into the female 1/4" adapter.

Does anyone make anything like this? With the correct inverted flare surface on the male 3/16" end? I found 1/4" to 3/16 NPT but not the inverted flare that matches up with brake valves and master cylinders.

Thanks

Hello,

Good luck on finding that fitting. I needed one to install the new SSBC Adjustable Proportioning Valve and Distribution for the rear line. Anyway I looked high and low then I found them at Pep Boys on the shelf. They are made by Motormite PN 43303. It looks like partsamerica.com sells them as well...

My local NAPA has an impressive "Weatherhead" fitting inventory in pull-drawers behind the parts counter - they haven't failed me yet ...

Thanks guys. I will have to go to Austin for a Pep Boys, so I will search out a Napa.
