I have a very original 69 Z28. I am really wanting an agressive sounding exhaust system. There are so many different systems out there to choose from. The car already has a set of "old" headers with the square flanges. I am really not sure what to do. First of all, does an aftermarket exhaust mess with value and originality? Or, is exhaust one of those thing we can get away with? Also, I believe this car came with Chrome tips being a Sept. 69 car.
Is there a 2.5 inch system that comes with tail pipes where the tips look somewhat like the originals? I do not think I want the chambered exhaust as that would probably be an easy fix.

The Gardner exhaust system is very correct and very aggressive sounding. Go to Gardner exhaust website and listen to the sound clips. http://www.gardnerexhaust.com/soundclips.html
