Has anyone seen or fabricated a hard shell "convertible boot" for a first gen camaro? Just looking for alternatives to the original style parade boot.

I'm just looking for a hard cover for the convertible top when it's down, rather than using a soft parade boot. I still want access to the rear seat. angelglo Oct 2nd, 06, 02:19 PM they made one for ian ziering's vert. it was on overhaulin. i think it looked nice but i dont think you could put a top frame with the set up they had. angel 69ssrs396 Oct 2nd, 06, 02:26 PM I was at the fall Grand Run at Pigeon Forge last month and saw my 1st hard cover. It was on a 67 Camaro car owned by Prodigy Customs in Florida. I spoke to the owners dad and he said that they were going to start possibly making it available to the public. He said the problem with it right now was it was a one piece design and they were trying to make it into a 3 piece so it would fit in the trunk. You can go to www.prodigycustoms.com and see the Camaro. Its black with red interior. |
