Sorry Corey, the 68 cowl tag along with the early 69 Norwood and all Van Nuys built 69 camaros will not give you any indication of how the car was built from the factory except for paint and interior. Tell us more about your car and maybe we can help a little more.

Ok what should I be looking for????

The guys checking our floor and will be here for alittle while. He is the second owner. Told him I would see what we could tell him about his car.

He says it has a 327. Bucket seats. Colum shift. When HE purchased the car 20++ years ago it had a Bumble strip.

The VIN will only tell you if it was a V8 from the factory, not which V8, then the rest of the VIN was only the sequence number, nothing about options at all there either. There are clues but its best you review www.camaros.org and their 'decode' info. for all the best info. you can get on the web. That would be the quickest too.
