I seriously doubt you need 1 7/8" tubes on a 302 engine. Stick with 1 3/4" max. I have always had good luck with Hooker Comps. or Hedman.

Hooker competition headers fit great. 1 5/8 tube, I believe. The smaller the tube size usually means easier to fit.

Beware on the Hooker 2451's . Some of them will hang lower on the driver side. I say some as surely Hooker has made a correction in the last 20 years? My olds ones were that way, thats why I went to 376 Y -1 Thorleys.

The Thorleys fit great and don't hang low. Around $450 coated shipped in from Summit. And they make that 302 run real nice, along with the right tune.
