I'll try to get back to you this afternoon. If the dust is in the clear coat you can sand it out. Thats the beauty of base and clear.

Thanks again Jonesey, i think the dust is in a combination of the base and clear.

The basecoat color was done in PPG Deltron 2000 (DBC) The code was DBC2078 Azure Turquoise Poly. It was reduced with PPG DT870 reducer at a 1:1 ratio.

The Clear was 4 parts PPG Concept Clear DCU 2042 with 1 part PPG DCX61 Hardener and 1 part PPG DT870 reducer.

My shop uses PPG and it is suggested you use PPG for the underlayment of sealers and primers.

We used PPG NCS 2004 Gray sealer (2 parts)
mixed with PPG NCX 2200 sealer catalyst(1 part) and used PPG DT870 reducer at about 10% of the above mixture.

I got this info from the body shop. My head started to spin with all the info. I guess I didnt realize all the items used to paint my car.

I hope this helps graemlins/clonk.gif
