I am going to check out a 1968 Camaro SS that is supposed to be an original big block with air. Engine has been decked and has no codes on it so, no way to check that.
Can you tell if it is originally a big block by the AC suitcase?

A big block will not fit in the engine bay with a small block A/C suitcase (trust me I know) The A/C suitcase for a big block, will have the evaporator/POA valve turning in toward the engine instead of toward the fender like a small block. Good luck, and PICS PICS PICS.....

OK, so then this must be original?

Anything else look out of place?

The shroud and bracket do not look to be correct.

The shroud and bracket do not look to be correct.
The radiator fan shroud looks like a big block to me and the bracket for sb/bb is the same in 67-68.
The AC case has a properly aged Harrison sticker on it, and must be a BB case because the engine fits.
Is the POA valve the one comming out near the top and pointing towards the engine?
Any other tells in this picture?

The 69s used the small fan shroud bracket. Also check the outside half of the suitcase. They are exactly like the s/b, except that it will have holed drilled for the support bracket for the POA valve.
When I put myb/b one on my car, I used the outside half of a s/b one, because it was in better shape than my b/b one. I wish I hadn't.

Unreal you are 100% correct, I should have read better. Mine is a 69 so I was thinking of that. That is a beautiful set up in the pic... Wish I owned it.

That's definitely a bb suitcase assy. The POA is on the engine side on the bb and on the fender side on the sb.
