My 67 already has multileaf rear suspension, but has damaged traction bars.

I want to use standard shock plates I got from Year One, but they require staggered shocks.

Does anyone know if there is a left and right plate where I can leave both shocks at the forward mounts?

Thanks :waving:

Why would you want to? The staggered shocks were designed to help stop wheel hop (a GM joke?) and they helped, but didn't eliminate the problem. If your traction bars are damaged you've likely had bad wheel hop anyway. For my 2 cents I'd send the shock plates back and buy Competition Engineering traction bars. You won't break them! Good luck.

Can't use staggered shocks on a 67 easily. The upper mounts in hte trunck floor are what is staggeed, not the lower mounts on the axle. You would have to put a 68 trunk floor into the car or come up with some custom lower mounts.

Country side I have a 67 with Hotchkis multis and bilstin shocks staggered shocks 1 1/2drop in the rear no other tracksion devise and the springs are good from 400 to 500 horse power.I dont have racing tires I have BFG T/As.Never had a wheel hop problem they will spin but never hop.If you are racing than they might not be for you but if you are just hitting it every now and then this is what works for me.Give them a call se what they say.

To answer your question, do a search. You use two, of one side, but I can't remember which side. You'll find the answer here, somewhere. :) :)

Detroit Speed and Engineering has multi leaf shock plates for 67 Camaros. The “stock non-staggered” plates will fit your 67.
