I dont like it either....I'm still not brave enough to take a stand and say "fake".

I'm sticking with fake tag.

It is a real tag, although a little crisper than most, might be the camera.

I think the 11a is of 69.... not an 11a 68 tag

1969 Camaro production @ Norwood ran from August 68 to Nov 1969.

Nov 69' build. Also, VIN matches this tag date range, so all looks good. Built about 2 weeks after mine..

My concern isn't the tag but the rivets/filler. Looks to have been off the car which is always a concern. What is the vin??

A November 69 with X codes? How far into 69 did GM make these cars?

Yes and the tag is real. 11A of 69 was the last build week you will see on tags.

Agreed, tag is very real, and the rivets (and filler) look consistent with what I've seen on 11A tags.

Nice color combo!

Tag is the real deal!! I would check the vin and compare build date on the tag with vin range. One of the last ones built. There are still honest folks out there, just not many of them any more:thumbsup:

How can you tell a real original tag from the aftermarkets? I was once told that the easiest wayto tell was by the rivets. they say there was a special tool that was used to attach them and when being reinstalled the rivets wont collapse correctly. I am not an expert at all. Thats just what I was told once by an expert.
