View Full Version : 70 Z/28 trim tag cortezsilver Oct 6th, 06, 08:42 PM Is it real? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280034893025&fromMakeTrack=true RamAirDave Oct 6th, 06, 09:00 PM I'd say its probably ok.... but I dont know 2nd gen tags that well. Gary L Oct 6th, 06, 09:00 PM We will see if the 2nd gen experts comment. I see several of the '69 tag components to make it a real tag. Not sure for '70 though. Dougs72Nova Oct 6th, 06, 09:15 PM It has the 8000 tach, floor mount gas pedal and rear swaybar which are all correct. Cannot tell in the picture if it has the 1 inch aluminum spacers on the front lower control arm bumpers. With the tall rear spoiler it would have had to be a copo option 9796 which was very rare! I also thought all the 1970 z28's had power steering? I had a numbers matching 1970 z28. jmo al8apexer Oct 6th, 06, 09:27 PM tag looks ok here wrong heads - 68 or earlier steering wheel wrong, but cool cheap repro seat covers wrong door panels wrong seat belts 2 out of 3 CORRECT pulleys www.nastyz28.com is the place for 2nd gens ... ps was an OPTION and a LOT did NOT have it (drag racing mentality ...) I would say it is a real Z missing some bits |
