Just bought a 67RS/SS 350 convertible. Aside from knowing that it is the correct color, is numbers matching ... how do I tell what is different from way it was bought new. It has a cassette deck in it but didn't think the cassette was even around then. Has chrome valve covers with the wing nut hold down rods, chrome thermostat housing, chrome hood latch/spring ... How do I go about finding out what is true?

Since looking into buying one have been reading the forums and find there is a lot of valuable info, looking to use that knowledge to bring the car back to actual.

And last for now-RS headlight doors-not hooked up(just slap in the breeze). Aside from knowing I need motors, how do I hook them up to work correct?

Welcome to Team Camaro!!!

Searching here and at the CRG (camaros.org) will reveal a ton of info on your car.

A copy of the fatory assembly manual (referred to as the "AIM" and available at all the repro parts sellors) will also be a big help.

With the possible exception of the chrome valve covers (I'm just not sure about them, so someone else can be more definative) the rest of what you listed is definately aftermarket.

All those are pretty easy fixes. Sounds like a great find.
