I wasn't sure if this is an engine question, restoration question, or electrical question, so I'll put and go general tech...

I am trying to figure out the best way to route the single wire to my electrical oil pressure sending unit on my 69 396. The AIM for L35 isn't a lot of help.

Does it go:

a) over the top of the wiper motor with the rest of the harness and drop straight down?

b) over the top of the wiper motor with the rest of the harness, over to the coil with the ignition leads and then down the back of the block to the switch?

c) out of the harness short of the wiper motor and drop down on that side?

Looking at it in the car and what little info is on the AIM for L35, it looks like "a" may be right. Anyone have thoughts or photos??

On mine, (reproduction wiring harness)the wire drops straight down from the outside of the wiper motor, right where it exits the harness. If you tried to go over the wiper motor, and then back, the wire would not be long enough to reach. The AIM for L34 (page 283) does not show the wiper motor, but it does show it dropping straight down from where it exits the harness.
