View Full Version : starting a 67 project
mebe_epp May 12th, 02, 06:38 AM I am getting ready to start a project this week , a friend of mine has a 67 RS in need of some bodywork and paint I took on the job cause I need a few buck's and I would like to see this guy get to drive his car this year he has had it for three year's or so and could not get anyone to work on it , anyway he has a new tailpan from national part's depot I was wondering how well they fit ??? anyone here put one on ?? it look's nice , he has two rust free front fender's so once I get the tail pan installed the rest should be just basic clening and assembly ,

1967 Panther May 12th, 02, 08:19 AM The tail panels fit great. You shouldn't have any problems installing it. The one defect I've found on them is that the taillights don't seal real well. I had to use window-weld around the taillight gasket to get them to seal.
stevo camaro May 12th, 02, 06:20 PM I installed one on the RS. It was a GM piece though. I do have some pics I could scan & try & post them. Working 13-14 hr. days so it may take till friday to do it. http://www.camaros.net/forum/smile.gif
