Saw this on racing junk. Man these cars are going up and up and up in price! Do you think it's real? http://www.racingjunk.com/post/727815/1969-Camaro-Z28-all-matching-number-DZ302.html

I think that car was on Ebay several months ago. I'm sure someone knows exactly. I am pretty sure the car was the real thing.

I think that that car may have been listed on this site at one time. I think I remember it before it was stripped and it didn't look bad. I may have seen it on Racing Junk but I tink it was listed here.It was a year or two ago. It is the real thing.

Nice car if it is real. POP photo is not clear and I find it somewhat interesting/convenient that the original owner had a PO Box. No pictures of motor or pad stampings. If it is real that color combo is the frosting on the cake.

but $40K? Ouch! What would it be worth if it were completely restored?

$40k for a 1969 Z/28 that is in pieces and unrestored?
At $25k, it would probably sell.

He bought it complete, took it apart, and wants a whole lot more than he paid for it. Any idiot can take a car apart, but people will pay more for one that's still together. Lot to be learned for the restoration when you take it apart.....

You're right on there, Kurt. Ive had to build cars that were brought to me disassembled, and it can be a real PITA. One was in which every nut and bolt was thrown loosely into one single bucket. Well, maybe it was about 1/2 of them. The others were MIA

I definitely prefer to be the one that does the disassembly.
