Hi:

I have found three cars and would like to get some of your guys input on them.

First: a 69 Z that has been stored for 20 years, first in a garage then in a wood floor barn. Supposedly it drives and the frame is in good shape but will need a good restoration. It is supposed to have the original documentation and Protecto Plate. No pics yet and I haven't even seen it, but assumming it is real and in reasonable shape what's it worth? If we are in the right neighborhood I will get pics and more information. Don't want to even start if we can't do this.

Second and 69 pace car that I have seen but only from a distance. Supposed to be real and documented and needs some resto but drives. This one may be out of my league.

Third a 65 GTO but that may be for another forum

Thanks

Mark

Without some pics it really hard to give a number, but if there the real deals, you better have some deep pockets.

Well yeah I figured that on the deep pockets, but what I don't know is how deep. I am thinking something like $40k for the pace car and maybe $15k for the Z. Does this sound reasonable or am I high, low?

Maybe a little high on the Pacecar (not much though) unless its a big block, or has a bunch of options, but your low on the Z. If it runs and drives and has the original drive train your looking at 25 to 30K to start higher if its an RS.

I think Mark's right on the money with those numbers. With original doc's and paperwork, that will bring up the price too.
