Does anyone know if a 68 RS/SS 350 295hp came with a chrome lid? This would be a Th350 car. Pre heat tube or no? Thanks Jamie

Definitly came with the chrome lid (different from the '67 though). Not sure about the pre heat tube but I think so for an automatic. Anyone know for sure?

Powerglide car. No TH350's were installed in production 68 Camaros, except for some very late production L30's used as test beds for the 69 model year. Don't believe either the 67's or 68's had preheater tubes.

My 68 is an L48 (295HP 350) with powerglide. It has a chrome lid (a 68-only piece that is not re-produced) and a pre-heater tube. E-mail me and I will send you a picture.
