 Hi, I have a 2002 Camero and I love it. But I am having a problem with the electric window on the drivers side. Sometimes when I lower it it won't raise, right away...if I drive down the road a ways it will eventually raise all the way, but it takes several tries. Any clues as to what is going on with my window? I would appreciate any help you can give. The local repair shop is giving me a quote of over $500 to replace the motor.

Welcome to the site... Check ebay for window motors for about $30-$50. Then if you have any mechanical ability and a little patience you can follow this and save $450 and throw a party for all the Team Camaro folks in your neighborhood... ;) :beers:

Seriously it's very common and I used the low buck one in my '96 so if it burnt out quick I wasn't out much... Last I saw the car it was still going strong and I replaced it about 2 yrs ago...

CamAro!

Seriously though, Dennis is spot on. You can get the motors cheap and they are fairly easy to replace yourself.
