Hey Guys, I was wondering what their getting for Chevelle 12 bolts these days? I found one in a OLD junk yard and they want 150.00 for it. I'm not sure of the year, looked to be a 70 or 71(huge job just getting back to the car!!) Wasn't planning on using it in my 68(bought a 8.5 out of a nova for that from the old guy) but was wondering if it might be worth the hassel to grab it for resale?? I don't know if it is a posi or not. Thanks for the help.

its gotta be worth a good bit more than $150 to some one in need.

Around here, the A-body 12-bolts are still fairly easy to come by, and can be had in need of rebuild for $100 to $200.

$150 is a good price for it. What about the rest of the car? If it has a 12 bolt in it then it must be a Super Sport or other high performance model. There might be a lot more on the car worth getting. Look at the dash for gauges and in the floor for a console. Look up front for disc brakes and anything else worth having. Might be worth while to drag the whole thing out and list it on ebay. If it is a SS then the VIN is worth something.
