so i'm lookin to beef up my V6 intil i get my LT1 motorswap
annnnd so far if you dont have a Z28 your a loser i guess cause i cant find nothing for my car to boost my proformance
now....this is my first newer car so i mean yeah the pretty much explains it
I just had a 1965 mustang 289 HIPO fastback and adding horsepower was fast and easy and i know with newer cars there are sooooo many little things
if someone could help me out i would greatly appreciate it

Oh I can help with that one. www.cz28.com has about a thousand different parts to make your v6 MOVE. Just stick with the stock exhaust or you'll sound like a Honda

Now that my Supervisor isn't staring at me, I'll elaborate. Their was a thread in the v6 section that was talking about hp and torque. With a cold air intake, ported heads, full new exhause, and a few other mods he was pushing 295 horse at the flywheel. The v6 is limited, but still has some good mods. You might want to try a cold air intake and a quality performance computer chip. I believe that that would be good for 20-30 horse but I could be wrong. You could also change the rear-end gears for more down low acceleration.

by the way, If you have a v6 your not a loser. Their are plenty of good v6's out there. My only advice is that again you should try to keep it quiet. A loud v6 sounds like a drunken man using a chain saw to cut a dog in half. :thumbsup:

hahaha well i have flowmasters on my v6 it sounds pretty good oh and hey thanks man for that link i'm gonna check it out right now!
