I have a 700r4, this is what it is doing: shifts fine half throttle in o.d or manually, when I stomp it it will not change gears in o.d or manually. The pressure guage is erraticly pulsating from 40-150, it should be consistent at 90psi. I was told to put a quart extra in after I told them it's already full, now I have fluid all under my car where it blew it out! I am awaiting their phone call as we speek.
I've had no problems prior today.

UPDATE: Went for third test drive, made it maybe 100yds in 2nd gear at 20mph heard a "CRUNCH". Would not move, pressure guage showing 0. Tranny is out and going back to B.T.O. tomorrow. They said it sounds like the pump, we will see. I will keep yall posted.

Just makes you whole day doesn't it. I just sent back a center section from one of the people with a very good name because it was junk. Even the pinion flange appeared to have far too much runout in it. Sure they took it back but it cost me about $100.00 between shipping and the installation parts.

FWIW, the biggest monkey on my back as far as my 700r4 goes, is getting it to shift at WOT. I've had it in no less than 4 times since getting it to try and get it to shift hard and when you want it.

Watch out for the power, tho. Mine's going in tomorrow because it appears I might have burnt up the 3-4 clutches running it hard at a track day.:sad:
