It's been a while my posi rear end is locking too hard. even with some additive.
I decided to remove the cover and find out what sort of posi I have.
I took some pictures because i couldn't find any tags or vins....

I hope you can help me and tell me what it is for a differential and then what tune i can do to get it run smoothly.

Thank u so much

Marc,
The posi unit looks lie an Auburn style unit.
Could be an original BW unit. Look for a "W" by the axle code that is stamped into the front of the passenger side tube, to see if it is an OEM unit.
I can't remember if the Auburn unit take a special additive or not.
Send a pm to BGH. I am sure that he will know.

It's an Auburn. You need to put 2 bottles of Ford oil additive in it. That MIGHT make it quit.

Hi,

I didn't found here the amsoil oil, so I bought two bottles of
1052271 GM Axle Lubricant (SAE 80W-90) 23 oz.
+ the GM additive Limited Slip Axle Lubricant, I hope it will be allright.

I was thinking of cleaning the differential with break cleaner right before closing the cover and filling.

What do you think?

If you clean it with brake cleaner you better leave the cover off for a while so that it has time to evaporate. If you leave any brake cleaner in there it will cause the oil to break down and wipe out the rear end. Better put 2 bottles of that additive in there or you will be adding another one later.
