I have a '73 z/28 that weighs about 3400lbs. I am currently runnin' 11's(11.74)in the 1/4 and want to pick up E.T. by loosin' weight.
I already have a 'glass hood, but what else could I loose or replace that would make a significant difference in weight.
Do any manufacturers offer 'glass doors that except factory glass?? Thanks

Wilwood front disks. Hawker Genesis battery weighs only 12 1/2 pound, will start a 600 inch engine. 1985 F*rd Ranger aluminum master cylinder. Glass front bumper, skinny front tires on 15x4 alum wheels. This stuff is still street friendly, mostly, :D and doesn't stick out too much.

Vega manual steering box will drop a good chunk of weight. Factory seats are also really heavy... swapping out the front buckets to some lightweight plastic racing seats will probably drop 40 pounds at least.

anything aluminum you can on the engine. also ditch the heater, center console, ya know the useless stuff.
