Does anyone have a picture of what the original air cleaner looked like on a '69 Camaro with the SS 350 cu. in 300 H.P. engine? Just curious if this set-up is correct, which I kind of doubt.
Thanks in advance.

No, it's not correct. All small blocks (except the Z28) with a standard hood came with a closed element air cleaner with a snorkle setup on the passenger side. Automatic transmissioned cars had a heat stove on the snorkle, manual cars didn't. There are a few different versions based on what engine wqas in the car, ie 2 barrel, or 4 barrel carbs but they basically look the same. L48's with the cowl induction hood obviously had a cowl induction air cleaner.
Only the Z28 and big blocks with the flat or SS hood (not cowl induction) came with an open element air cleaner.
