First of all I am a Pool and Spa repairmen/ trench plumber and I am lost here. Where to start.

This car in the last year has cost me a fortune and I have come to a point that I am about ready to throw up my hands. I take it to so called mechanics , and end up with two reacuring problems.

1. Car runs rough at this point. Getting hot !!! No power and the transmission isn't shifting properly " Rebuilt 10 months ago ! " Stalls out as soon as you shift to drive or reverse. No power at all.
Was running fine for 3 months not getting hot or stalling. " Replaced o2 sensor and cts " Has a new cat and flow master exauast. prior to the three months. Now I drive it around the block and when I oulled out the dipstick it was smoking! Ugh! Today I replaced the tempature sensor and found that the coolent fitting that goes to the throttle body was broken off in the engine block and both small hose that go to the throttle body were packed full of crap. replaced the hoses retapped the new fitting and also changed the thermostat , and waterpump that had been old and leaking with new. Started it up ...no leaks but car still got hot and of course was stalling no power still. What can this all be!!!!!!!!! please give me some help guys I am about ready lose it ! Going back to another so called good mechanic and desperatly need some advice .

Oh the second problem is that the a/c blows super cold , but blow warm when sitting in traffic. Seems like the clutch is sticking. if I hit the face with my hand it engages.?????????

First thing I'd do is fill it completely up with coolant and then after it gets good and warm, look down into the rad. cap opening at the coolant for signs of any bubbles!!

If it is bubbling, you may have either a blown headgasket or a cracked head!!

Major surgury if so!!

Otherwise, you really need to hunt out a GOOD repair shop that can diagnose what ails it! It is too expensive nowadays to just throw parts at it!!

Sorry, not of more help.. And the reason I start with the coolant is b/c if you do have a blown headgasket or cracked head, everything else that is wrong with it is pretty much minor, imho..

Wouldn't my oil be milky if i had a blown head gasket.

Wouldn't my oil be milky if i had a blown head gasket. Not necessarily. Engine could have a leaky gasket from combustion chamber to cooling system.

If the leak, if there is one, could find its way to leaking into the oiling system if not fixed in the near future.

If your cooling fans are not running with the A/C on it will blow warm @ idle and cold @ highway speeds. This could also be why the engine is overheating.
