: 1111467 Not what I was hoping for.
67RS/SS396 Oct 17th, 06, 11:04 AM I purchase a few months back some bb camaro parts. While searching through the distributors all I could find where small block ones, I was hoping to find a 1111170 no such luck. A friend who came over the other day looked at one number 1111467 dated 8A3 and said it's for a 68 Z28. If so whats it worth and/or would it be worth an even trade for a 67 1111170.
bertfam Oct 17th, 06, 11:26 AM Tony,
If you're looking for a distributor for your 67 L35, you need a 1111169, not a 1111170. MUCH easier to find also!! Sell the 467 on ebay, buy a 169 and pocket the profit!

L72/RS Oct 17th, 06, 01:34 PM Tony,
I have a 1111169 that I would sell for $50 or trade for a 1111489 for a 350/300 auto.
I sold a 467 for $750 at the last swap meet in September. The guy had two 68 Z's and was looking for dist and alts for both. Yours has a good date and might be worth more.
If you want, I will see if I still have his number.

Eric
Zedder Oct 17th, 06, 02:22 PM Tony, I'll give you $800 for it if it's in good shape and not a restamp.
firstgenaddict Oct 17th, 06, 03:29 PM Eric,
I have a 489 if you want I will go check the date...
67RS/SS396 Oct 17th, 06, 05:45 PM Whoa........ I had no idea these things were worth that much.
Ed thanks for the info but i really need the 170 dist. The 2 L35 cars I have are #'s matching and the engines have all there correct and original parts. I also have two 3902406 blocks w/ 4bolt mains and I want to build my version of a dated correct 67 L89. One of the blocks is dated april, the heads are alum 3904392's also april and intake 3886069 dated april. I just need the dist and holley carb. For those who have contacted me about the 467 dist. I will try to send a pic of the stamping tommorow. I believe it to be original not restamps because i can see the stridation in the housing under the stamping, any help on the other parts i'm looking are appreciated.
67RS/SS396 Oct 18th, 06, 07:18 PM Here's a pic of the stamping.
L72/RS Oct 18th, 06, 07:32 PM Tony,
Looks good to me, other than someone shooting it with "GO FAST" paint.
If you clean it, make sure you don't blast it, sand it, or wire wheel it. Find something to dissolve the paint or leave it for the next owner to clean.
JMO.

Zedder Oct 18th, 06, 08:09 PM I agree with Eric, the stamping looks good. Looks like it needs to be restored before using, but I think that just runs $200 or so. Nice piece.
Pacecarjeff Oct 18th, 06, 08:35 PM Put it on ebay, you will be surprised how much you will get. $1000's
Just sold 2 111170's that I had.
Will go back a look and see if I have another.
I have a bunch of 489's, and 169's if you need - at least a dozen of each.
