Just ordered a ZZ4 crate motor . Want to order the best carb I can anyone strongly reccomend one over another ? Thanks Will be running a 4 speed

My personal choice with that engine and a 4-speed would be a Holley 650 double pumper. It's not too big and very tuneable.

Barry Grant makes two carbs specifically for the zz4 crate engine.

Was hoping for an out of the box 200ish holley anyone have luck with that .Gm seems to sell a 750 holley with there turn key version . Looking for a list # i guess .

I'm running a 670 Street Avenger Holley but I changed the primary from the stock 65 to 68. Runs good.
I also have the new Barry Grant crate ZZ4 650cfm made especially for this engine. I'm not going to use it. Why screw with something that works. If your interested, IM me and we can talk price. Paid over $400, will go for about $100 less. Was on car for about 1 month. Fuel rail extra if interested.

I would also vote for the Holley 650 DP - list 4777-X. Some would say a DP isn't the best choice for a street carb. Properly tuned they work extrememly well on the street.

My buddy just put in his ZZ4 2 years ago and ran it with a Holley 4160 750 cfm vac secondaries.. then he bought the barry grant zz4 carb.. which is a speed demon 650 mechanical secondaries jetting and air bleed adjusted to the zz4.. BIG difference.. he loves that barry grant.. throttle response was increased big time from the 4160..
