My problem is my new headers fit great but the passenger side is a little too high so when the exhaust shop goes to put the pipe on it is not going to clear the cross member. I am using Energy Suspension mounts on the trans and engine, could these be throwing it off? Any ideas

this is a comon thing, you will need a "S" bend in the pipe is all. i would not worry about it.

So just let the exhaust man worry about it? The passenger side is a lot higher toward the floor than the drivers side. I still think there is something not right. I am almost ready to fire it up and try to get my bases covered.

I just had the exhaust put on my '69 and it was like that too.Its a common deal im told
my exhaust guy made a new collector with a slight angle in it and it worked out nicely.

I've heard of people heating the collector and pipe area untill red and then puting a baseball bat inside the collector and "tweaking" the thing upward.
Good luck

Upward would be toward the floor.....not a good thing.
