what is the best way to remove my rocker panels? do i drill out the spot welds and if so what is the best to use? or do i cut the old off and grind off the old spot welds?

Alright! Just the info I want to. I've read all the old posts on this but I'm slightly handicapped so all the reading I can get is great!

Just so you know in case you do not, there are two rocker panels. There are the inners, the outers, and the the 'skin' for lack of a better word. I've read that just drilling out the spotwelds will work but this gets very difficult up in front by the cowl.

By the way as a side note, I thought my rockers were pretty solid but upon closer inspection I found that some Mooo-Ron filled the entire things with bondo type material. DOH!

So were we until we opened our '69 rockers. We ended up doing inner and outer on both sides. Check out the sig link below for pics showing us doing ours.
