Maybe one of u can help me out I have a 2002 camero 6 cyl the dash security lite came on and since then the auto stalls out and won't restart until it sits for awhile. can go about a mile and it stalls. let sit about 5 min and it will restart then same thing again. Acts like not getting fuel. Dont know if its tied to the security system.:confused:

If its the security system it shouldnt even crank the engine with the starter. It may be the security system tho. It depends on what system and how it is setup. When you have this problem does it crank the starter?

I have seen that one other time and it turned out to be the Ignition Switch---its a place to start---:-)

the engine will crank i depress the pressure relief valve in one of the fuel lines and nothing comes out of it. today i talked to two chevy service managers they said that the fuel pump is tied to the security system and since the light stays on after the engine starts one of them wants to reprogram the security system thinking that will cure both problems. the other said it would take about an hour to trouble shoot it.
