I'm in the market for a 1st gen convertible. There are two that I am considering and would love some advice. I am loooking for originality and want a Blue RS minimally. 4 speed / A/C is desired but I'm tired of waiting!

Here are the two I am considering and again would love feedback!!

Thanks - Ed

The first is on this website: http://www.camaros.net/classifieds/photoads/lanza09/index.html

The second is on EBAY:

You will probably get a better deal on this website than eBAY.... since you are not competing against others in an auction.
Both look like very nice cars. Consider the shipping costs.

Thanks.

It's been real tough becauee I can't seem to find exaclty what I want and I'm not even sure if it exists.

67/68 Convertible SS/RS (might be able to live w/o the SS)
Blue / Blue / White top
A/C
4 speed
396 would be nice but not a must

Is that too much to ask for :-)

Stay away from fleabay if you can. Either look at the car either way yourself or have someone do it for you. Just some advise from someone who's been there.

Here's a gorgeous deepwater blue 67 with white top, 327 auto, RS, air conditioning, nice restoration. Bought at auction earlier this year by one of our members, clill. Drop him a note, maybe he's still got it and would cut it loose:

Keep looking they are around. If you have a love for a manual trans you won't be happy with an automatic.
I know a guy who owns a body shop and he has the shell of a 69 rs convert which he intends to put together and sell. This is a numbers matching car.

I actually know him... he lives close to me in northern CA. I want either marina blue or the turquise color.

I think I might just do that. I have a 68 327/275 black plate that I love but I want an RS convertible.

Hi...check out www.anbclassics.com. they have a turqouise one that I was looking at. It's a rs/ss with 4spd. 350 though. It looked pretty clean. I've only seen pics. Looks like nice options too. They were willing to let it go for 29k...maybe less now if they still have it.
