i had my latch spring break on me. its the one arond the bolt. the spring pushes the chingadera to keep the hood shut all the way right. has this happened to anyone. is there a fix or replacement spring. latches arent cheap so i thought id ask first.......

I think springs are available from the resto houses. If not, hit an old junk yard. I think they are similar on lots of cars.
